- Only private companies can receive UKEEP financing (at least 51% private ownership)
- The financing shall be used for investments that decrease energy consumption at the existing production facilities of the borrower, or increase own energy production from renewable energy sources.
- The borrower must be the company that makes the investment.
- The investment must be profitable (the energy savings should be sufficiently large in relation to the size of the investment)
