How the technical assistance works:

A UKEEP project applicant will be in touch with both the Project Consultant (through the UKEEP hotline and the initial screening of the project) and in most cases with the Energy Efficiency Experts (through energy audits on the company’s premises). After contacting the UKEEP Project Consultant through the UKEEP hotline, a preliminary assessment of the project will be made, determining its technical and financial eligibility. If the information received about the project is insufficient, or if additional investments can be identified, the Energy Efficiency Experts will visit the applying company’s premises to perform an Energy Audit.

An Energy Audit under UKEEP takes about one week, depending on the availability of information and the complexity of the project. The Energy Audit establishes an investment programme that aims at reducing energy costs. It calculates the energy savings and subsequent cost reductions and analyses the financial merits of the project. The energy audit is performed at the applying company’s premises and will only be used by the UKEEP experts, the participating bank making the loan decision, and EBRD responsibles.

UKEEP presents a unique oportunity for Ukrainian private companies to get free assistance from the best international experts in decreasing their energy costs. If you wish to apply for ukeep financing, click here.
